Privacy Policy
Your privacy is critically important to us. At North Creative we have a few fundamental principles:
- We don’t ask you for personal information unless we truly need it.
- We don’t share your personal information with anyone except to comply with the law or protect our rights.
- We don’t store personal information on our servers unless required for the on-going operation of one of our services.
In our service, we aim to make it as simple as possible for you to control what’s visible to the public, seen by search engines, kept private, and permanently deleted. If you have questions about accessing or correcting your personal data, please contact us via our email address: hello@northcreative.co
It is our policy to respect your privacy regarding any information we may collect while operating our website.
Website Visitors
North Creative uses Google Analytics to collect non-personally-identifying information of the sort that web browsers and servers typically make available, such as the browser type, language preference, referring site, and the date and time of each visitor request. North Creative’s purpose in collecting non-personally identifying information is to better understand how North Creative’s visitors use its website.
North Creative also collects potentially personally-identifying information like Internet Protocol (IP) addresses for logged in users and for users leaving comments on North Creative’s blog. North Creative never discloses logged in user and commenter IP addresses. IP addresses are only visible and disclosed to the administrators of the blog where the comment was left.
Gathering of Personally-Identifying Information
Certain visitors to North Creative’s websites choose to interact with North Creative in ways that require North Creative to gather personally-identifying information. The amount and type of information that North Creative gathers depends on the nature of the interaction. For example, we ask visitors who sign up for a blog to provide a username and in some cases, an email address. When filling out the Let’s Talk contact form, customers are asked to provide a first name, email address, and telephone number. In each case, North Creative collects such information only insofar as is necessary or appropriate to fulfil the purpose of the visitor’s interaction with North Creative. North Creative does not disclose personally-identifying information.
We use an SSL certificate to encrypt all data on our website, which means that all data sent via the submitted form is only visible to North Creative. This helps to protect online users against hackers, who try to steal users’ information.
North Creative does not store personally-identifying information on its servers.
North Creative acknowledges that all individuals have the right to access the personal information/data that we maintain about them. An individual who seeks access, or who seeks to correct, amend, or delete inaccurate data, should direct their query to hello@northcreative.co
If requested to remove data, we will respond within a reasonable timeframe, not to exceed one week.
Protection of Certain Personally-Identifying Information
North Creative discloses potentially personally-identifying and personally-identifying information only to those of its employees, contractors and affiliated organisations that (a) need to know that information in order to process it on North Creative’s behalf or to provide services available at North Creative’s websites, and (b) that have agreed not to disclose it to others.
North Creative will only disclose potentially personally-identifying only when required to do so by law, or when North Creative believes in good faith that disclosure is reasonably necessary to protect the property or rights of North Creative, third parties or the public at large.
If North Creative holds personally-identifying information, North Creative may occasionally send you an email to tell you about new services, get your feedback, or just keep you up to date with what’s going on with North Creative. We expect to keep this type of email to a minimum.
North Creative takes all measures reasonably necessary to protect against the unauthorized access, use, alteration or destruction of potentially personally-identifying and personally-identifying information.
We also may be required to disclose an individual’s personal information in response to a lawful request by public authorities, including to meet national security or law enforcement requirements.
Privacy Policy Changes
Although most changes are likely to be minor, North Creative may change its Privacy Policy from time to time, and in North Creative’s sole discretion. North Creative will notify clients by email when making changes.
